The FROG Fund exists to help Friends & RPCVs of Guyana continue to fund projects in the country of Guyana. These funds will ensure that Peace Corps Volunteers, host country nationals and interested parties can continue to apply for grants.
FROG was created in 2007 by a group of RPCVs who wanted to create a community of people interested in Guyana. This includes RPCVs, PCVs, family, friends, other Guyana-based volunteers and all those interested in giving back to Guyana.
FROG provides assistance in the form of small grants and resources to support community driven projects that volunteers are involved in. In addition to this, we coordinate Guyanese cultural events and awareness activities in the U.S., both as a part of the Third Goal of Peace Corps and as a means to strengthen support for the people of Guyana.
